As an author, you need to do your due diligence when you choose the publishing services company that will help you self-publish your book.
Make sure you know and understand the difference between traditional publishing and self-publishing services.
Make sure all the time and effort you poured into your book benefits you as much as possible as an author.
Make sure you’re not getting into a bad deal with a publishing services company disguised as a publisher.
Protect your intellectual property and your money by getting the the answers to the following questions:
- Who will own the ISBN?
- When and how will you receive your book files?
- Who will be the publisher of record?
- Are there any backend fees?
